This book is a visual satisfaction with images that span decades of African fashion around the globe. The cover in itself is frame worthy. The author takes the reader on a brief journey from the motherland to every other land her hands have reached with fashion. The author touches on textiles, accessories and art forms from African fashion that go unacknowledged in the global fashion. After feasting your eyes on such captivating images throughout the book, we are then met with the voices of 14 designers from all over the globe who chime in with "What is African luxury and how is it manifested in Africa?" The book is visually appealing, succinctly informative and worthy to be read.
